She was born in Istanbul. Yasemin Yazıcı studied diction and acting at Dialog and Pera Fine Arts schools as well as dance and vocal training. During her school years, she appeared on the stage with plays "King Oedipus", "Antigone", "A Midsummer Night's Dream", "Lysistrata", "Faust (vol. I)", "Hugo System" and "Separation". .

She graduated from London School of Economics Social Anthropology in 2018. After graduating from college, she studied acting again at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). After making the return to Turkey, she participated in the "Practical Acting Workshop" certificate program, where masters such as Ezel Akay, Deniz Ölmez were trained at the Istanbul Film Academy.

In 2021, she played the character of "Naz" in the TV series "Son Yaz", which was broadcast on Fox.

Yasemin Yazıcı played the character of "Esra" in the TV series "Kara Tahta", which started broadcasting on TRT 1 in 2022. In the same year, she acted as "Meltem" in the movie "Love Tactics" released on Netflix.
