Kerem Kocaer (b. 22 February 1984) Actor
Born in Istanbul in 1984, Kerem moved to Belgium at the age of six and completed his primary education in Brussels. Graduated from Galatasaray High School in 2001 and Galatasaray University in 2005. To divert from his francophone life, Kerem decided to move to Sweden to pursue a Master’s degree in Information Security, where he was also introduced to the world of theatre. What started as a hobby turned quickly into a passion, and after numerous trainings and projects in Stockholm, he moved to London in 2014 to continue his drama studies at City Lit, Royal Central and Drama Studio London from which he graduated in 2018.
Kerem has most recently appeared on stage in London as Ernest in “The Importance of Being Earnest” and on screen in the short film “Better” by a BAFTA award winning director. Other recent productions include “Cherry Blossom”, “Ceremony Night”, “The Chrysalids” on stage, and short films “Car Keys” and “The Dice”. Credits while training include other plays such as “Romeo & Juliet”, “The Cherry Orchard”, “The Way of the World”, “Love's Labour's Lost”, “The Grace of Mary Traverse”, etc.
