Evrim Solmaz

Evrim Solmaz (b. 27 August 1972) Actress

Evrim Solmaz, born in Ankara, a theater, cinema and TV series actress, started her career in 1990 at Ankara Hacettepe University State Conservatory Theater Department. Her professional debut was a theater play called "Otogargara" by BKM. She got her Master Degree (Drama) from Kadir Has University.

Her debut on television was in 1995 with the serie called "Bedel" followed by "Zerda", "Kayıt Dışı","Hanımın Çiftliği", "Umutsuz Ev Kadınları", "Diriliş Ertuğrul" and as last, "Zengin ve Yoksul. The films she starred in are "Karaoğlan","Hababam Sınıfı Askerde", "Beyza'nın Kadınları" and "Maskeli Beşler".

Between the years 2006-2013 she gave drama classes in the Müjdat Gezen Art Centers in the cities of Istanbul, Ankara, Marmaris and Bursa.

In the year 2000 she got interested with martial arts and started to learn Kickbox and trained for 4 years. In 2004 started to follow Trainer Courses of Wing Tzun, Kung Fu and Escrima. She also followed courses on dance, folkloric dance, modelling and horseback riding.

She got married in 2013 and became a mother of a son in 2014. 

Finally, she played the character of “Meral” in the TV series "Zengin ve Yoksul”.
