Can Kolukısa

Can Kolukısa (b. 14 May 1934) Actor

He was born in Eskişehir. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Economy. He joined to the Youth Theater of the University. Witht the group they had a lot of succes and received domestically and internationally awards.

He studied drama between the years 1964-1966 in Paris Sorbonne Theatre Institute and between the years 1966-1968 in Unesco/ Paris University.

He worked in succesful  theater groups of Turkey with many precious artists of Turkish theater society.

He co-starred in some of the milestone films of Turkish Cinema such as “Kapıcılar Kralı” directed by Zeki Ökten (also starring  Kemal Sunal) and “Züğürt Ağa” directed by Yavuz Turgul (also starring Şener Şen).

He starred in many TV series such as Vatanım Sensin (2017-2017), Muhteşem Yüzyıl “Kösem”(2015), Hanımın Çiftliği (2009-2010), Yabancı Damat (2004), Asmalı Konak (2002). 

Can Kolukısa, who played the children's grandfather as a guest actor in the TV series "Bizim Hikaye" in 2018, lastly played the role of "Niyazi" in the TV series "Gibi", which was broadcast on Exxen in 2021.
