Cem Baza

Cem Baza (b. 23 March 1974) Actor 

Cem Baza was born  in Ankara, Turkey (1974). He graduated from Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Theatre Department with Acting Degree in 1996 and he moved to New York same year.

In the years that he lived in New York he worked towards Masters degrees in New Media Arts and Performance Studies and Computer Science. Meanwhile he worked with various theatre groups and in solo performances as an actor, director and writer in both Turkish and English for 14 years.

He moved back to Turkey in 2010 and started working in the movie industry. He worked front of the camera as an actor and he had different responsibilities behind the camera. He was an actor at the Istanbul Municipal Theatre for two years. He still works as an actor and director in various theatres and front and behind the camera.

Cem Baza played the character of "Salih Güden" in the internet series "Şahsiyet", published in Puhu TV in 2018, then "Seyfettin Kadı" in the series "Çukur", "Marvan" in the series "Savaşçı" and "Yanık Kasım" in the series "Payitaht Abdülhamid" in 2019.

In 2020, Cem Baza played in the documentary-drama series “Rise of Empires: Ottoman” which is one of the Netflix Original Works. 

He played in the TV series "Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu", which was broadcast on TRT 1 in 2020.

Cem Baza also took part in the "Hay Sultan" series, which is planned to be broadcast on TRT 1 in the upcoming period.
